Robert Half HR Generalist in La Jolla, California

Description

We are seeking a highly-skilled, professional Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the success of the organization by offering guidance on recruitment, terminations, performance management, employee relations and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct recruitment effort for all employees, participate in selection process, and manage onboarding.

  • Implement and administer various HR plans and procedures for all company employees.

  • Advise management on appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.

  • Assist in implementation of personnel policies and procedures.

  • Conduct compensation benchmarking and manage benefits administration.

  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance (coaching, counseling, career development, succession planning).

  • Ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal requirements including FMLA, ADA, COBRA, EEO and others.

  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems.

  • Plan and execute HR initiatives that support the strategic goals of the organization.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR roles.

  • Knowledge of HR federal laws and regulations.

  • Strong problem-solving and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
