Transplant and label plants and remove any damaged or dead material. Plant, spray, weed, prune, fertilize and water shrubs, trees and other plants utilizing basic hand tools. Dig, cut and transplant seedlings, cuttings, trees and shrubs. Move, load and unload plants, shrubs, trees, soil, fertilizer, chemicals or other plant inputs. Evaluate the quality of growing agricultural commodities. Maintain records. Rake and keep grounds free of debris. General facility maintenance, cleaning and upkeep. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
A general work week is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. However, because of the complexity of the crop conditions workers may be requested to work long days as well as on Saturdays, Sundays or Federal Holidays, depending upon the conditions of the commodities being produced. Therefore, hours above 40 per week may be offered but are not guaranteed.
