Job Overview:

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Have expertise on reservoir fluid characteristics analysis, proficiency on PVT tools (PVTsim/ Multiflash) and familiar with the mitigation strategies for flow assurance issues
Have good knowledge about multi-phase flow behavior and its impact on the oil and gas production system
Have a very good working knowledge of all simulation tools (PIPENET, PIPESIM, OLGA etc)
Familiar with subsea production system configurations and operations
Be able to create flow assurance models, and perform steady state and transient simulations independently
Be able to write reports and lead discrete simulations scopes, have client interaction on key projects
Experience on flow assurance work in different project stage, i.e. conceptual study, FEED and EPCI
Assists & ensures the preparation of: Conceptual, FEED and detail design analyses, calculations and reports, procedures
Inputs for requisitions and reviews of vendor and subcontractor submittals
Resolve technical queries
Reviews engineering design basis
Deliverables lists and philosophies
Responses to fabrication queries Inputs for progress reports
Estimates for bid proposals, including technical queries, execution statements, schedule and man‐hour estimates
Updates to departmental technical guidelines and standards
Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise
Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices
Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions
Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
Requires depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline or field
Prepare/review and (as Lead) approve analysis and design reports
Provide input, review and (as Lead) approve drawings
Provide input for RFQ and review vendor data
Participate in design reviews and verifications
Review and (as Lead) approve third party reports
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Minimum Bachelor Degree (preferred for Masters and above) in Chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or petroleum engineering
8 years oil and gas industry experience including minimum 5 years direct hands on flow assurance work experience
Chartership preferred
