Position Overview:
This role is vital for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all incoming goods and materials, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and supporting the operational efficiency of the hotel. You will manage the full receiving cycle—from verifying deliveries and inspecting quality to documenting and storing goods. Collaboration with various departments is key to addressing discrepancies, ensuring proper inventory management, and maintaining compliance with operational policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure received goods match the Purchase Order (PO) in quantity and description.
Check for damaged, spoiled, or defective items and handle discrepancies promptly.
Accurately enter received items into the system and ensure all paperwork is completed and signed.
Report and resolve issues such as over/under deliveries or price differences.
Ensure goods are stored correctly, especially perishables, following health and safety guidelines.
Work with Purchasing, Finance, and other departments to address issues and maintain smooth operations.
Collaborate with various departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
File and keep accurate records of all deliveries and transactions for future reference.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in high-end service environment.
Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Excellent attention to detail and strong skills in Microsoft Office.
Effective communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Strong multitasking abilities and a well-organized, structured approach to work.
