We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as AVP, Applications Support Senior Analyst - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Applications Support Sr Analyst - C12) based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Apps Support Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. The job requires candidate to manage AML Compliance & operational risks along with AML modernization. It requires good analytical skill in order to prioritize any potential issues impacting in AML space.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• The Application Support Senior Analyst executes data quality controls such as Alert Volume & Case volume impacting AML business.

• Identification of issues before DCRM detection and DC creation

• Manage AML Scenario Production Threshold validation as part of quality control.

• Data Guardian role to control data base access

• Support AML 360 Tableau change management & Digital case processing.

• Timely execution of mandatory controls to avoid any operational risks.

• Identification of Data Quality issues which impacts AML monitoring and causing operation risk to business.

• Weekend production system validation.

• Assess risk and impact of production issues and escalate to business and technology management in a timely manner.

• Ability to multi-task & appropriately prioritize tasks.

• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Solid years’ experience in an Application Support role.

• Advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization.

• Demonstrated analytical skills, Issue tracking and reporting using tools.

• Knowledge/ experience of problem Management Tools

• Ability to plan and organize workload.

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholder.
