Job Title: Assistant Manager/Manager, Talent Development and Retail Training

How You Will Make a Difference

What you will do:

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Partnering with HRBPs in arranging Talent Development related initiatives in an effective and consistent manner, including but not limited to Performance Management, Leadership Development, and People Development.

  • Translate Global/Regional HR initiatives into action plans and implement them in an effective way.

  • Act as subject matter expert in providing solutions and advice on getting the right resources, assessment tools to support their portfolios to work on Talent Development initiatives.

  • Partnering with VFAcademy, you will execute and implement training programs primarily through standup training (seasonal product training, retail career development, sales productivity) for retail operations and sales staff of distributor partners in the APAC region, either in-person or online.

  • Assist/support in the design and development of training courseware and evaluate the effectiveness to ensure ongoing feedback is collected and improvements can be made.

  • Ability to understand the cultural/language nuances so as to tailor training methods/content/platforms.

  • Maintain an updated training database and develop effective SOPs to better monitor and enhance training productivity/effectiveness.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree preferred

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience

  • Candidate with experience in retail/customer service/hospitality are encouraged to apply
