• Carries out operational duties based on defined customs strategy, policies, processes and procedures in their area of responsibility (import/export processing; customs clearance; classification)

• Ensures compliant import/export processing and/or customs classification in the area of responsibility.

• Monitors compliance with import/export processes and ensures that processes comply with customs regulations by running IT supported test routines and random checks.

• Is responsible for reporting of non compliant cases.

• Checks data and documents and coordinates with internal and external partners.

• Provides support and/or training for the establishment of master data for the area of responsibility.

• Contributes to the improvement of the efficiency of procedures.

Requirements:

• Preferably Bachelor’s degree

• English language proficiency - advanced level

• Microsoft Office - advanced level

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the same or similar positions in a corporate/production environment

• Experience in a Software design program will be considered as a strong advantage

• Experience with relevant systems (e.g. SAP…) will be considered as an advantage

• Process analysis and systematic thinking
