About the Role
Title : Technical Quality Analyst
Grade Level : 09 (or as applicable)
The Team
Our team is building a data intelligence product that links, cleans, and structures datasets from disparate sources — helping data teams and clients derive value from messy data. We’re looking for a technical QA Engineer to own the quality of our infrastructure, integrations, and product features. This role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, robust systems, and fast, reliable releases.
You’ll be part of a small, fast-moving team where you’ll influence testing strategies, and build test frameworks. You’ll work closely with product managers, data engineers, and software developers to validate our data-linking algorithms, test automation pipelines, and guarantee the integrity of data delivery.
The Impact
As the technical QA on the team, your work will directly determine the velocity and stability of our product. You'll build robust testing frameworks, automate end-to-end and integration tests, and create tools to catch bugs before they ship. Your contribution will ensure that both frontend and backend systems are resilient, scalable, and user-ready.
Responsibilities
Architect, implement, and maintain automated testing infrastructure.
Create and run test plans for APIs, services, and frontend applications.
Work closely with developers to test new features before, during, and after development.
Validate APIs using tools like Postman, Swagger, or custom test scripts.
Monitor and improve test coverage across unit, integration, and system levels.
Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar).
Perform load, performance, and security testing to ensure robustness under scale.
Collaborate with DevOps to manage test environments and mock services.
What We're Looking For
3-6 years of experience in test automation or QA roles with a strong technical foundation.
Solid knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks
Strong understanding of API testing , including writing test scripts in Postman or code.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (preferably Python or JavaScript ).
Familiarity with testing across microservices and architectures.
Comfort working with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD platforms.
Strong debugging skills and ability to read logs and trace issues across systems.
Experience writing detailed bug reports, test cases, and documentation.
Nice to Have
Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, GCP) and testing infrastructure in cloud-native stacks.
Exposure to containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes for environment simulation.
Familiarity with contract testing (e.g., Pact) or mocking frameworks.
Performance and load testing experience (e.g., using JMeter, Locust, or k6).
What’s In It For You?
Opportunity to define and build the QA function from the ground up.
Hands-on work with modern dev stacks, APIs, and cloud services.
A culture that values speed, ownership, and innovation.
Direct influence over the quality and performance of a mission-critical data product.
A collaborative environment where you work directly with product and engineering leaders.
What’s In It For You?
