Robert Half Staff Accountant in Kokomo, Indiana
Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team located in Kokomo, Indiana. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for full charge bookkeeping for multiple clients along with tax filing for both corporate and individual returns. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Managing full charge bookkeeping for a diverse range of clients.
• Supervising the tax filing process for corporate entities.
• Handling tax filing for individual returns.
• Ensuring accurate execution of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure precise financial reporting.
• Regularly maintaining and updating the general ledger.
• Preparing and posting journal entries as part of the month-end close process.
• Using financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management
• Demonstrated ability in conducting Bank Reconciliations
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger management
• Experience in preparing Journal Entries
• Proficiency in executing Month End Close procedures
• Familiarity with NetSuite accounting software
• Hands-on experience with Oracle financial software
• Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software
• Experience with SAP financial software
