Job Description

The purpose of this job is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the discount coordinator team, ensuring accuracy of customer discounts and rebates.

  1. Supervise and provide daily oversight of the discount coordinator team; select, coach, train, and develop direct reports, to include appraising job performance and conducting performance reviews

  2. Ensure customer pricing and discounts are accurately implemented across several different platforms

  3. Review and ensure completion of key credit department reports and reconciliations

  4. Collaborate with sales, IT, wholesale, freight-only and finance team members to coordinate efforts, streamline processes and improve Guest experience

  5. Support relationships with key billing services; resolve escalated problems with billing services when they occur

  6. Review and approve manual rebates and back pays; collaborate with audit and compliance departments to ensure compliance

  7. Provide guidance and input for development of credit-related software to ensure all stakeholders’ needs are met; manage new and existing data within systems

  8. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level

  9. Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

  10. Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related business field required

  • Minimum four years’ work experience required

  • Supervisory experience in a similar role preferred

Specialized Knowledge

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

  • Knowledge of principles and techniques used in conducting financial analyses

  • Knowledge of financial and accounting principles, practices, and procedures

  • Strong systems orientation with the ability to rapidly develop deep knowledge and understanding of key credit department systems
