Looking to make your mark and connect communities across America? Here's your chance! We're looking to hire a dynamic Aerial/Underground Construction Crew Supervisor to join our telecom team. You can play a pivotal role in shaping the future of telecommunications infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Oversee installation, maintenance, and/or repair of telecommunications equipment with accuracy and safety
Supervise day-to-day activities and project progress, establish guidance on project execution and ensure compliance with project deliverables
Cultivate effective communication with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to ensure tasks are completed.
Identify and mitigate project issues and risks, and assist in the development of response plans to resolve
Align operational strategies with overarching business objectives, contributing to organizational growth
Implement and maintain processes to assist completion of tasks in support of an assigned area, department, or project
At a minimum, you'll need a solid grasp of telecom construction, including hands-on familiarity with aerial lift devices, utility lines/poles, and other telecom construction gear. You will have a knack for using cable placement equipment and tools, and the finesse to troubleshoot any hiccups along the way.
Qualifications
5 or more years of progressive experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's degree or advanced training, preferably in construction management or a related field
Working knowledge of AutoCAD/Microstation drafting software and/or GIS software
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs
You will have your own transportation, mileage driven on the job will be reimbursed
Preferred: Experience in personnel management and/or project managemen
