Required: * Minimum 2 years\' Service Technician or Auto Mechanic experience * Valid driver\'s license and clean driving record * Drive manual transmission vehicles * ASE Certified (Subaru certification preferred) * Own some basic tools * High school diploma or equivalent * B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair * Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination * Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and operate electronic diagnostic equipment * Learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications * Customer service skills and basic computer competencies * Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve * Enjoy working in a dynamic environment * Teammate with skill to collaborate with others effectively * Pre-employment background check and drug test Duties Include: * Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards * Diagnoses vehicle problems based on customer complaints and inspection * Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts * Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer; warranty parts must be returned to the parts department and signed off on RO * Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended * Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed. If work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time * Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order * Road tests vehicles including inventory and client vehicles Hours: * Monday - Friday * 7:30am - 5:30pm
