Job Summary:  In this role, I’ll be at the helm, steering our strategic sales teams toward success. My mission? To elevate performance, achieve goals, and maximize gross profit. Here’s what I’ll be up to:

  • Strategic Planning:  Crafting roadmaps that lead us to victory. I’ll analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and chart our course.

  • Sales Training Coordination:  Equipping our sales warriors with the skills they need. I’ll organize training programs that empower them to conquer challenges.

  • Directing Sales Activities:   I’ll be the conductor of our sales orchestra. From prospecting to closing deals, I’ll ensure harmony across the board.

  • Profit Growth:  Numbers matter. I’ll keep a close eye on our team’s gross profit, making sure it climbs higher than a mountain peak.

    The Role

  • Researching new markets and using the data to forecast sales, set performance goals, review strategies to increase revenue and gross profit.

  • Devising and implementing new business initiatives and sales strategies and monitoring their effectiveness in order to drive upsell and cross-sell within existing accounts.

  • Ensuring effective training programs for sales representatives, assigning trained sales representatives to various territories, and setting their sales goals, revenue targets, and key performance indicators.

  • Overseeing the company's sales growth by evaluating sales reports and capitalizing on particular products or services.

  • Increasing the efficiency of business procedures by meeting with operational and sourcing departments.

  • Assess the sales team's performance and oversee the performance management of underperforming account managers.

  • Presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales results to the Area Sales Director and Regional Leadership Team

  • Presenting the company's products and services at conferences and events.

  • Monitoring the sales activities of competitors and utilizing appropriate ideas.

  • Securing large accounts with the national accounts team and negotiating contract agreements with customers.

  • Travel as needed to be successful in the role.
