The Security Operations Specialist, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, will be responsible for the coordination and strategic alignment of security activities that support diverse business functions. The Specialist role combines tactical and operational expertise to solve complex problems within ambiguous environments while providing administrative assistance that improves the efficiency and management of processes, people, and projects associated with the global corporate security program. This position will have a hybrid work schedule (in office/remote). Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Assist the Regional Program Security Manager with security reviews for facility projects before and after occupancy, management of reception and training activities, special projects, design of facility security measures, coordination of site planning, readiness activities, access management, and physical security.
  3. Ensure the efficient implementation of agreed-upon action items and top priorities by effectively managing the administrative tasks and responsibilities identified by the Regional Program Security Manager and leadership team.
  4. Create structure and focus for broad, ambiguous ideas that the Regional Program Security Manager and division leaders have agreed upon.
  5. Proactively identify opportunities that add value to the Regional Program Security Program.
  6. Operate at a tactical, strategic, and operational level, handling the oversight of projects that fall between divisions or leadership areas of responsibility, when appropriate.
  7. Effectively manage multiple security workflows that are essential for achieving operational and strategic success.
  8. Partner with various stakeholders to ensure regional alignment and improve the security posture of the site.
  9. Lead regular meetings with counterparts/stakeholders to ensure regional alignment.
  10. Monitor and stay current with security-related practices and technology.
  11. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications: Bachelor's degree and five years in physical security and risk management with an increasing level of responsibility for scope and scale of programs or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company .   • CPP or PMP certification, preferred.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) creation and maintenance, preferred.
  • Executive level presentation skills, preferred.
  • Proficient Lenel access control technology design and management skills.

  • Strong project management skills.
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy.
