Description
We are seeking a fun-loving, kind-hearted person for a rewarding part-time position, providing respite services for teenagers and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities on-site at our Pecora Center in Kingston!
Site-based respite is designed to provide teens and adults with leisure time as well as recreational and educational activities, while giving parents and caregivers opportunities to meet their own needs.
The Respite Provider will help support people with disabilities as they strengthen their social skills, make new friends, assist with homework, and learn new hobbies and activities!
HOURS: 25/Monday through Friday - 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm
STARTING SALARY: $ 18.50 to $ 20.35 per hour, with additional shift differentials as applicable
Minimum Requirements
Basic computer skills required.
Must be able to meet Essential Minimum Physical Demand Job Requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred;
Experience with persons (adults and children) with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities strongly preferred.
