Summary:

In this role you will function as a Cybersecurity Liaison between the larger FedEx Enterprise Information Security team and the newest FedEx Operating Company ‘FedEx Dataworks’. You will familiarize yourself with Enterprise Information Security Standards and processes and apply critical thinking in how to apply those standards and processes to enable secure development of Dataworks assets at speed. Dataworks is operating fully in the cloud and manages a digital portfolio that harnesses the vast amount of data curated over 50+ years of providing world class logistics services. Our unique operating model, that differs from a traditional logistics-based company, created opportunities that necessitated the need for a focused Cybersecurity team.

Job Description / Responsibilities :

  • Under minimal supervision, supports Information Security governance, risk management and compliance processes

  • Monitors and reports internal compliance against external regulations, compliance and industry standards

  • May perform risk assessments, oversight, enforcement, and reporting activities to meet enterprise-wide information security requirements:

  • Provides information to management regarding the compliance posture of Dataworks

  • Prepare and conduct training for Dataworks personnel on compliance standards

  • Routinely perform sampling to assess compliance adherence within Dataworks

  • Provides recommendations to highly complex issues and guidance to those in less senior positions

  • Provide guidance to IT teams involving the implementation of IT governance practices, promoting and assisting in projects when needed

  • Design and deliver training programs which promote awareness and foster a culture of compliance Coordinate with enterprise information security organizations to ensure all security and compliance requirements are met

  • Review Dataworks IT teams documentation for accuracy and completeness in meeting compliance requirements

  • Routinely perform quality control checks to ensure compliance guidelines are consistently followed

Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience working in a Cloud based organization

  • Prior experience working within security controls frameworks, for example NIST, CSA, ISO27001, etc.

  • Prior experience working with software development teams

  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle development frameworks

  • Experience implementing compliance controls in CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience working in organizations subject to regulations such as PCI, SOX, or HIPPA

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Five to seven (5 - 7) years of experience in IT information security.

Pay Transparency:

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: Monthly Range $10,160 - $15,240

DomicileInformation:

This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business needs.
