Robert Half Financial Analyst in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

Description

We have partnered with a services company within the medical industry on their search for a determined Financial Analyst with proven experience in investment banking or private equity analysts. This role will consist of financial planning, performing ratio analysis, forecasting to support budgeting and planning processes, developing analytical methods, monitoring actual performance against budgeted figures and provide variance analysis, staying up to date on industry trends, economic conditions, and market developments that may impact the organization’s financial performance. The ideal Financial Analyst for this role must have strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.

Major Responsibilities

· Provide financial analysis, forecasting and reporting

· Develop strategic initiatives

· Budgeting & Forecasting

· Variance Analysis

· Source M& A targets

· Maintain knowledge of regulations and policies

· Establish possible operational cost savings

· Prepare financial reports with key metrics

· Assist in M& A analysis

· Establish financial trends and make recommendations

· Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations

Requirements

The ideal Financial Analyst will have a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or similar.

Other requirements for the Financial Analyst role include and are not limited to:

· MBA preferred

· 2+ years experience in financial reporting/analysis/forecasting

· MUST have advanced Microsoft Excel skills

· System implementation experience preferred

· Mergers & Acquisition experience a plus
