What does this role look like?

• Join a fast paced dynamic team where you will lead a small multidisciplinary team of engineers in the design and development of Complex Component Assemblies (CCAs) for test equipment used in a sustainment program.

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

• Serve as a technical lead, responsible for designing and developing electronic circuits

• Coordinate the efforts of cross-functional teams, including other engineering departments.

To be effective in this role, you will need:

• 9+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's; or 7+ years of professional experience with a Master's degree.

• For this position, an active Final Top Secret or higher clearance is required to be considered, thus US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

• Experience in electronics design, with a focus on CCA design and development.

• Proven experience coordinating with other departments.

• For this position, an active Final Top Secret or higher clearance is required to be considered, thus US Citizenship is required.

Desired Skills:

• Strong understanding of electronic circuit design principles, including analog and digital circuits.

• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.

• Experience with fuze design and development, including knowledge of fuze systems, safety requirements, and environmental testing

• Strong background in the defense industry, with familiarity with military standards and regulations (e.g. MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461)

• Knowledge of radiation-hardened (Rad Hard) electronics design principles and techniques, including total dose radiation effects, single event effects, and radiation testing methods

• Experience with design and development of electronic circuits for high-reliability applications, including fault tolerance, redundancy, and fail-safe design

• Familiarity with defense industry-specific design tools and software, such as Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools or simulation software (e.g. SPICE, SPICE-RAD)

• Experience with DO-160, MIL-STD-883, and other relevant standards for electronic component testing and qualification

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
