The Corporate Supply Chain Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Associate Application Analyst- Data Analytics.

The Associate Application Analyst- Data Analytics will m aintain the reporting application under the direction of Department Supervisor and Senior Staff. Works aspects of projects assigned from preparing report guidelines and requirement through final implementation. Coordinates with supervisor modifications to existing reports that will effectively accomplish desired objectives. Provides technical support and project collaboration with UHS entities as needed. Coordinates work assignments given in order to meet deadlines and ensure continued progress toward assignment completion. Shares experience and learned knowledge with other members of team.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Regularly meets with supervisor and Team to discuss develop/modify report specifications.

  • Coordinates solutions for reporting applications and prepares the appropriate documentation.

  • Outlines report specifications for UHS business needs and coordinates validation of data sources.

  • Understands education material and provides assistance with training to UHS staff for reporting applications.

  • Interacts with Leadership on implementation of new enhancements on reporting applications.

  • Coordinates development of test data, system testing and documentation for all phases of the application development life cycle.

  • Troubleshoots and opens implementation-related Customer Support Center Tickets.

  • Adheres to appropriate UHS Project Management standards.

  • Ensures strict adherence to work plans, reporting all serious deviations to Supervisor

  • Assists management with training analysts in performance of their duties as required.

  • Provides technical support and guidance to other team members as required.

  • Maintains Service Excellence principles.

  • Prepares and promptly submits all routine and special reports.

  • Keeps management well informed of activities, needs, problems.

  • Researches Customer Support Center Tickets (reporting to supervisor) major application upgrade issues

  • Adheres to UHS Service Level and Change Management Policies.

  • Provides on-call support as needed.

  • Establishes and maintains regular communications with user community.

    Qualifications

    Position Requirements:

  • Associates degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    Knowledge: Knowledge of system application implementation, enhancement and support methods and practices. W orking knowledge of computer systems analysis and programming techniques.

    Skills: Understanding of SQL, Dashboard development, DTS packages, Crystal Report Writing, Microsoft Project. Introduction to database management, project management, report validation methods and data warehouses. Knowledge of Horizon Business Insight (HBI). Knowledge of system application implementation, enhancement and support methods and practices. Knowledge of computer systems analysis, techniques and procedures. Developing skills in consulting with users to determine software or system application functionality; coordinate design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing, or modification of system application. Understanding of IS standards and quality methods and metrics. Knowledge of project management methods. General familiarity of user business practices, concepts and terminology sufficient to support the applications. Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency.
