Kilgore College Part Time Instructor - Cosmetology, Esthetician Certificate in Kilgore, Texas

Position Details:

Kilgore College - Longview offers a wide variety of credit, non-credit, and vocational courses. This position is for a part-time Esthetician instructor.

Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will report to the Cosmetology Program Director. Duties will include the following: implementing and facilitating the instructional process relating to the Esthetician Certificate. Provide classroom and clinical instruction; supervising students as they perform client procedures; preparing class syllabi and tests. Maintain records; recruiting and advising students. Expanding client base; maintaining communication with local and regional employers. Other duties as assigned by the Cosmetology Program Director.

Minimum Qualifications:

All applicants must have a current Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation Esthetician License. Some working experience as an Esthetician. Teaching experience preferred but not required. Applicants must possess good written and verbal communication skills; have good computer skills; be well organized and thorough; work well with little supervision; ability to deal professionally and courteously with a diverse student, employee, and client population.

Salary Range & Fringe Benefits:

  • This position is part-time and pays $15 -$20 per hour.
