Read more at www.dsv.com Location: Seattle, WA Division:Air & SeaUS Job Posting Title: Quality Assurance Specialist, Semiconductor - 87366 Time Type: Full Time Summary Supervising and coordinating various projects at the airport, warehouse or named location, for safety and quality control of client's high value, and high importance products. Create, coordinate, and complete shipments of goods between company and clients. Coordinate with off-site logistics locations, clients, and vendors to meet deadlines and track all shipments. Process orders and ensure shipment schedules are met. Act as a point of contact for customer service. May develop and maintain operational reports, ensuring the completion and accuracy of reports. Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate and arrange all shipping aspects of designated projects Physically supervises all designated projects in Seattle, at all hours of the day May require travel for supervisions outside of Seattle Adheres to specific client and product SOPs Meets company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, quality, leadership, and customer service. Works with the supervisor, manager, and peers to improve/enhance overall service to the client. Ensures that all product is loaded/unloaded and transported in accordance with quality and safety rules Monitor loads from end to end, to ensure complete success of project and client satisfaction Develops relationships with vendors and vendor staff, to ensure the priority and effective handling of DSV projects Maintains an organized and orderly desk/office area. Performs other duties as assigned Working hours are fluctuating, depending on project needs. Candidate is expected to manage their time and work schedule in a way which ensure success of all the projects.
