Job Title: Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled technician with experience in reading and accurately interpreting shop blueprints, technical drawings, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers, and experience with powered electric and pneumatic hand tools such as grinders and sanders. Aerospace manufacturing experience is considered advantageous.
Responsibilities
Operate grinders and similar powered hand tools to remove burrs and blend or polish surfaces.
Perform work in compliance with blueprints and written specifications, selecting appropriate methods and tools to meet specifications.
Operate tumblers, loading and unloading the tumbler hopper as needed.
Demonstrate regular on-site attendance at the workplace.
Execute repeated tasks with acute attention to detail.
Essential Skills
Experience with sheet metal, deburring, grinding, and sanding.
Ability to perform tasks with acute attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1 – 50 lbs frequently.
Capability to squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for 1 – 10 hours per day.
Experience working in a 55 – 85 degree Fahrenheit work environment.
Experience working in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing.

Work Environment
This role operates within a manufacturing environment, which may expose employees to loud noises and machinery with moving parts. The position is for a day shift, running from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, Washington.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
