Job Title: Brake Press Operator
Job Description
The Press Brake Operator is an advanced skilled position responsible for the set-up and operation of CNC controlled forming, cutting, and rolling equipment. This role also involves assisting in the operation, set-up, and training of less skilled operators. The Press Brake Operator works under limited supervision, resolving most problems independently, with all work subject to first piece and final inspections to minimize metal damage and control excess labor and material expenses. Adhering to the department’s 6-S standards and the Company's Six Sigma principles is expected.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC controlled forming, cutting, and rolling equipment.
Assist in the operation, set-up, and training of less skilled operators.
Receive and complete specific work assignments with minimal supervision.
Conduct first piece and final inspections to ensure quality control.
Adhere to department’s 6-S standards and the Company’s Six Sigma principles.
Essential Skills
1 year of press brake experience.
2 years of experience utilizing micrometers and calipers.
2 years of experience working with fabrication machines such as CNC, laser, and punch press.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and conducting quality inspections.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in operating and fabricating with a press brake.
Ability to work independently and resolve problems with limited supervision.

Work Environment
This is a 2nd shift position, working Monday to Thursday from 1:30pm to 12:00am. The facility builds industrial radiators for warehouses, production facilities, and data centers. It is a clean and organized environment, although not temperature controlled, which means it can get hot in the summer. You will report directly to the Welding Lead and indirectly to the Fabrication Manager, working alongside other employees in the fabrication department such as welders, brake press/punch press operators, turret operators, and laser operators.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
