Summary

As a Staff Accountant, you will support analyzing operations, perform month end accounting close, maintaining accounting system and ledger, and analyzing inventory valuations in the IFC operating group.

Responsibilities Assist with month end closing activities to ensure accuracy and completeness including but not limited to journal entry preparation with supporting documentation and balance sheet reconciliations Prepare Property Tax filings and file Monthly Sales Tax Oversee and back-up Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll (Pay Runs) Prepare general ledger, credit card and bank account reconciliations, and schedules to assist in the annual financial statement audit Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions Assist with special reporting and analysis projects

Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Finance; or Economics (CPA Preferred) . Prior public accounting experience in a "Big 4" or "mid-tier" public accounting firm OR experience in a corporate accounting/reporting role (Preferred) . Self-starter; ability to effectively work independently and as a team player. Strong, current expertise in US GAAP accounting. Excellent customer-facing experience and strong communication skills. Skilled and proficient with Microsoft Excel; experience in Epicor Profit21 and/or Quickbooks is a plus . Detail Oriented and Deadline Driven with Excellent Organizational and Time Management Skills. Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak English. Willingness to travel as needed (10-15% may be required)
