Wolters Kluwer Senior Technology Project & Program Manager - SAP Implementation / Migration Consultant in Kennesaw, Georgia

Summary:

You will manage the process of working with teams to understand their record to report processes and translate them from legacy systems to our global SAP platform. The documenting of these processes will be accomplished in detailed requirements. You'll be asked to support migrations to SAP, SAP enhancement initiatives, defect resolution and future development roadmaps and requirements. You should understand the end-to-end process from order entry to finance, including revenue recognition and be able to lead the finance stream in a system migration. You will be able to work on their own and support businesses in how to use SAP in their daily work and monitoring and prioritize business defects, updates and enhancements. You will report to the Vice President of Operations Transformation

This role can work Hybrid out of our Riverwoods, IL , Coppell, TX or Kennesha, GA offices* *

Essential Duties and responsibilities

  • With a minimal level of guidance, provide maintenance and support for applications in various environments including traditional hosting providers, private cloud, and/or public cloud.

  • Apply working knowledge of business process and systems to perform moderately complex technical assignments.

  • Conduct analysis, planning, requirements gathering and logical design of a software product by working with internal and external customers.

  • Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process.

  • Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders in a global template.

  • Gather business requirements from Product Owners/Stakeholders, create user stories and work closely with technology teams to document system requirements.

  • Provide support to business user related to the usage of the system and be able to characterize issues as process vs. break/fix situations.

  • Responsible for the creation of various artifacts such as SRS, FS, use cases, data flows and process flows for specific features within a project release.

  • Participate in the development of best practices, project standards, procedures, and quality objectives, including metrics for assessing progress.

  • Utilize established project standards, procedures and quality objectives.

  • Actively participates in external and internal customer interactions.

  • Ability to work with internal and external customers to analyze a problem, think creatively and offer a variety of solution options

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent degree

  • 3+ years working in Business Systems Analysis or other equivalent experience

  • Working knowledge and expanded conceptual knowledge related to SAP / ERP Business Systems.

  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Understand business processes and how to use standard system capabilities to support them.

Travel requirements

Up to 6 site visits per year
