Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Kemah, Texas
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Kemah, Texas. This is a Contract-to-permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic work environment within the construction and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounting processes, billing, and cash handling, with proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
• Prepare and issue invoices to clients while maintaining detailed records of billing activities.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Utilize QuickBooks Online to perform accounting tasks and generate financial reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all billing and cash-handling procedures align with company policies.
• Monitor and track cash activities, including payments received and pending balances.
• Maintain organized documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
• Communicate with clients to address inquiries and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision-making processes.
• Contribute to process improvements in accounts receivable and billing functions. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, and cash handling.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and familiarity with other accounting software systems.
• Knowledge of the construction or industrial industry is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of general accounting functions and principles.
• Ability to effectively use ERP systems and CRM tools to manage financial data.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for client interactions and internal collaboration.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Kemah, Texas.
