Ricoh Americas Corporation Sr Solutions Consultant in Kelowna, British Columbia

The Sr. Solutions Consultant (PS) is responsible for promoting and leading strategic activities designed to enhance Professional Services-based revenue. The Sr. Solutions Consultant (PS) is responsible for helping Ricoh customers’ organizations improve their efficiency, growth and profit through accurate data gathering, thorough analysis and valuable recommendations. The position serves as the area expert relative to the Professional Services strategy and Ricoh's Premier Solutions Portfolio and Assessment Services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed assigned revenue and target metric objectives within the assigned territory;

  • Determine and clarify strategic and operational problems via consultation;

  • Identify and assess the pros and cons of possible strategies;

  • Compile and present information verbally, visually and in writing;

  • Generate new advanced solution sales opportunities by taking the lead in organizing customer workshops, vendor shows, symposiums, etc. to promote Professional Services offerings;

  • Partner with Area sales management to promote Professional Services strategy and manage the product portfolio;

  • Drive Ricoh's Premier Solutions portfolio and Ricoh Assessment Services offerings through analysis of customer business and technology requirements and the development of customized solutions to fit individual customer needs;

  • Apply a consultative approach to all contacts with customer C-level leaders and IT groups;

  • Partner with Area Sales teams in sales presentations, demonstrations, proof of concepts, internal trainings, and proposal development related to Professional Services solutions and services;

  • Communicate with Professional Services delivery team to support the development of the Statement of Work as part of the business/technology solution that relates to capture, document/content management and workflow requirements;

  • Propose and close complex capture, electronic content and records management and document workflow projects that impact Ricoh's core digital output business;

  • Adhere to and comply with the Ricoh Selling Process (including but not limited to participate using Sales Force Dot Com, Review and Plan sessions, Integrated Account Reviews, and identifying Professional Services opportunities within Phase 123 pipeline);

  • Conduct product demonstrations of all assigned products within the Solutions Consultant portfolio and deliver presentations at Ricoh customer events;

  • Mentoring and assisting Solution Consultants as required;

  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

  • Post Secondary Education

  • Minimum of 5 years related experience

Skills:

  • Experience managing complex projects involving Document Management, Accounting or other enterprise systems or network projects

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including MS Visio and MS Project

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently in sales and support environments

  • Basic Accounting skills (Balance Sheet and principals)

  • Product and technological knowledge of Ricoh products an asset

Other Requirements:

  • Requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation as this position involves local travel on a regular basis (and auto insurance coverage per Ricoh's policy)

  • Some travel required based on assigned territory
