Description We are in the process of recruiting a Credit Clerk for our team based in Keller, Texas. The role primarily involves processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. This role operates in a hybrid format, offering the flexibility of both in-office and remote work.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications
• Maintain precise records of customer credit
• Handle customer inquiries regarding credit in a timely and professional manner
• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly for any discrepancies or issues
• Take necessary actions to collect delinquent payments while adhering to company policies
• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and analyze financial data
• Reconcile payroll and ensure all records are up-to-date
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of debits and credits to resolve any related issues
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth financial operations
• Continuously update skills and knowledge to ensure proficiency in industry practices and standards. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks software
• Ability to reconcile payroll accurately and efficiently
• Solid understanding of debits and credits in financial accounting
• Experience in full charge bookkeeping roles
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Familiarity with financial reporting and other compliance standards
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
