Newport Sand & Gravel Co Inc Redi-Rock Laborer in Keene, New Hampshire
Job Duties
To understand and observe all of Carroll Concrete Co./Newport Sand and Gravel Co., Inc.s policies and procedures including but not limited to the Employee Handbook, SAFE Policy, Safety Manual and Drug Free Work Place Manual.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain concrete block forms (structurally)
Strip, clean, oil and close forms
Stack blocks for loader operator, stack in yard if needed
Clean plant daily, sweep, keep area tidy and safe, power wash as needed
Vibrate concrete forms with 20lb. backpack vibrator
Maintain stock pile of rebar hooks or loops for blocks
Maintain a positive attitude towards work and the team
Maintain and clean kitchen area daily
Follows appropriate environmental rules and regulations

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
Other duties and tasks as directed
Work in a safe and efficient manner at all time
Always represent the company in a professional manner
Notify Production Manager immediately of any work-related injuries or accidents (or Safety Director if Production Manager is not available)
Each worker is responsible for his/her own safety and for the safety of others around them.
Work safely and report unsafe conditions to your supervisor.

Experience:
Similar work experience is helpful but not necessary
Restrictions:
Must be able to lift and/or maneuver around a facility and grounds a minimum of 50lbs. throughout the workday, as required
Load/unload/carry materials and tools multiple times throughout the workday
Must be able to perform the essential duties of the job efficiently and safely
Must be able to work flexible hours as necessary. Some Saturday work required
Part of a Redi-Rock Laborers job will be other tasks/duties as assigned or as necessary.
