ManpowerGroup Electrical Technician in Kearneysville, West Virginia

Our client, a leader in innovative manufacturing solutions, is seeking an Electrical Technician to join their team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting a dynamic team of industrial electricians and engineers. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to safety, and a passion for continuous improvement which will align successfully in the organization.

This position will work a 12-hour night shift on a 2-2-3 rotation from 6PM-6AM.

Job Title: Electrical Technician

Location: Kearneysville, West Virginia 25430

Pay Range: $35 - $42 per hour, plus a night shift differential + Sign on bonus

What's the Job?

  • Install and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and troubleshoot using communication software.

  • Perform electrical and PLC tasks including calibrating, monitoring, and repairing various electrical systems.

  • Maintain equipment through planned preventive maintenance programs and keep accurate maintenance records.

  • Provide electrical and instrumentation support to ensure safe and effective production operations.

  • Install, test, and repair industrial electrical instrumentation and associated controls.

What's Needed?

  • 2-year degree or equivalent certification or work experience required.

  • 2-3 years of practical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment with automated equipment.

  • Proficient knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), specifically Siemens and Endress+Hauser instrumentation.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and share knowledge/experience.

  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
