Network Administrator and/or Junior Systems Administrator
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team to help build and maintain a growing company network infrastructure. This position will be based out of our corporate headquarters located at Kearney, NE but will also involve maintaining a WAN network covering facilities in multiple mid-west states.
While our preference is to hire someone with high level experience, we would potentially hire a promising candidate at a junior level and help develop them to perform the responsibilities listed.
This position will need work out of our Kearney, Nebraska, location to be effective.

Responsibilities
Designing and Maintaining LAN, WAN & wireless networks
Install and maintain network hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, and Access Points
Network performance & security monitoring.
Write and maintain technical network documentation.
Maintaining Backup and Recovery methods for all network infrastructure
Performs diagnostics of network issues
Requirements:
Both position would require:
Occasional travel to remote company sites
Occasionally work on the weekends during the company’s available maintenance windows
Experience with Ticketing Tools (Zendesk, or equivalent)
Junior position would require:
Functional basic skills with windows, PC’s and basic hardware used in a business environment.
Basic understanding of WAN, LAN & wireless network communication
Basic knowledge of Layer 2,3, VLAN configurations and the principles behind it
Basic knowledge of sub-netting
Advanced position would require:
Practical experience or certification on Cisco IOS and Cisco network hardware
Practical experience or certification on Fortinet Firewalls & Access Points
Real world experience working with
WAN, LAN & Wireless networks in a business environment.
Layer 2,3, VLAN configurations and the principles behind it
Designing, installing, and testing remote office networks
Common routing protocols
Sub-netting
Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of Cisco IOS & FortiOS
Scripting Skills (Python or other)
Communication skill on technical subjects
Basic troubleshooting skills
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Learn from and educate your fellow team members.
Strict adherence to company processes, change management, and other procedures
