Robert Half Help Desk Analyst III in Katy, Texas

Description

We're seeking a talented IT Support Specialist to join our team and provide exceptional technical support to our users. In this role, you'll play a key role in resolving user issues, maintaining network infrastructure, and ensuring a smooth user experience with Microsoft Intune for mobile device management.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and mobile devices.

  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems, ensuring efficient network performance.

  • Provide first-line support for Microsoft Intune, including device enrollment, configuration, and troubleshooting.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of user issues and resolutions.

  • Assist with user onboarding and training on new technologies and processes.

  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies, particularly in networking and mobile device management.

  • Provide excellent customer service with a positive and professional attitude.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).

  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues on various platforms (Windows, Mac, etc.).

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune for mobile device management.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

  • A strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills:

  • A+ or Network+ certification a plus.

  • Experience with Active Directory and other network management tools.

  • Experience scripting (e.g., PowerShell) a plus.
