Unilever Supply Chain Overheads Finance Junior Manager in Katowice, Poland
Main Purpose of the Job:
As Supply Chain Finance Junior Manager, you are responsible for the coordination of an accurate and fast month end close for Supply Chain Overheads costs related activities. You also coordinate and manage this area for Supply Chain Europe and are the main point of contact for 5 Business Groups in Europe. You are also the main point of contact for Unilever Supply Chain Controllers during the month-end close.
You are responsible for answering any business performance questions coming from the different teams within the Supply Chain Finance network. Solid background in finance and understanding of systems is therefore desired (Connect). You are expected to have experience in the different supply chain processes.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced all-round accounting expert with knowledge of accounting and SAP. This expert will work in a multicultural team in an international setting, and you will be the responsible owner of the financial accounting and reporting process of European Supply Chain Overheads.
What you can expect from the role?
First point of contact for Supply chain Overheads in case of process support and result explanation;
Provide deep dive analysis on actuals vs. forecast to highlight key drivers for over/under delivery:
Understand transactional level detail & significant drivers to provide monthly insights to stakeholders;
Run trend analysis;
Act as Business owner for SCOH Dashboard;
Full responsibility for ongoing snapshot process for Europe;
Run necessary in-month checks and controls for a smooth month-end process;
Execute and coordinate month-end closing activities for SCOH area;
Responsibility for provision movement checks and reconciliations;
Setup & monitor monthly recurring journal entries reflecting specific costs (Statistical charges).
Full responsibility for coordinating and managing forecasting process for SC Overheads in Europe:
Cost reported – monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast updates;
Cost incurred – five FCST cycles updates.
Cost Centres/International Cost Centres (ICC) creation as requested for SC Overheads;
Working on Supply Chain related projects
Ensure flawless execution of activities via continuous improvement.
