Description
Are you an enterprising, experienced, and passionate about accounting? Robert Half is seeking a Senior Accountant for an immediate hire for a respectable company that is quickly expanding. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for leading daily operations such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. An integral part of this position is establishing and scaling company accounting and finance operations. Responsibilities
-General Ledger, Financial Statement
Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures
Possess a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Periodically review and inspect the balance sheets and income statement accounts of Senior Accountants
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation
3+ years of recent relevant financial experience
Solid technical skills
Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
General familiarity with month end closings
Earlier work involving general ledger
Journal entries experience
Background working with Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
Good understanding of financial analysis
Comprehension of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Accounts Payable (AP) experience highly valued
Adeptness in Adjusting Journal Entries
Hands-on experience with Financial Statements
Knowledge of CPA Designation
Practical knowledge of year end closings
Account reconciliation experience highly preferred
Prior experience with financial statement preparation
Demonstrated knowledge of Month-end Journal Entries
