Cornerstone onDemand Director, Campaign Operations in Kansas City, Missouri
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Director of Campaign Operations to lead go-to-market communications initiatives for marketing. This role is pivotal in overseeing the execution of marketing campaigns through our Marketing Automation Platform (Marketo), ensuring data integrity, and providing actionable performance insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing operations, a deep understanding of marketing technologies, and a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.

Reporting into the Vice President of Marketing Operations, this leader will manage a small international team with partners and stakeholders positioned globally.
In this role you will…
Campaign Strategy & Execution
Partnering with our campaign leaders in field, corporate and product marketing, develop and implement comprehensive campaign strategies across various channels, including email, web, social media, and digital campaigns.
Oversee the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all campaigns.
Marketing Automation & Technology Management
Manage and optimize the use of Marketo for campaign execution, including building and sending emails, setting up automation workflows, and integrating with CRM systems.
Oversee campaign service desk relationship with external vendor, and the “Democratization of Marketo” program (which involves the training and upskilling of our practitioners for self-service)
In Partnership with the Director of Marketing Technology and Data, stay abreast of emerging marketing technologies and recommend tools to enhance campaign effectiveness and efficiency. High focus on AI opportunities, where applicable.
Ensure compliance with data regulations such as GDPR and CCPA in all marketing activities.
Data Management & Analysis
Oversee the uploading, segmentation, and maintenance of marketing lists, ensuring data cleanliness and integrity.
Analyze campaign performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
Own partnership with campaigns teams and drive conversations driven by data and, supporting with actions that drive impact to pipeline.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing operations professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, excellence and positive intention.
Set clear objectives and performance metrics for the team, conducting regular reviews and providing constructive feedback.
Encourage professional development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge.
You’ve got what it takes if you...
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing operations or campaign management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proficiency in Marketo and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Marketo certification or equivalent.
Experience in B2B marketing environments.
Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance requirements at a global scale
