We are seeking a Lead Operations Coordinator to oversee warehouse operations, manage customer service at the rental counter, and handle administrative tasks. The role involves inventory management, order processing, and cross-department coordination. Ideal candidates will have warehouse experience, forklift skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a preference for construction industry experience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling & disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current

  • Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment. Prepares work order for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment

  • Confers with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as sales, records control, and purchasing

  • Directs salvage of damaged or used material

  • Participates in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities

  • Assists Customer at the Rental Counter and on the phone which includes processing rentals, shipments and returns of all orders.

  • Enters Rental and Sales orders into company computer system and performs the conversion process from quotes to orders.

  • Runs credit cards, balances at the end of the day and submits receipts and reports to Corporate

  • Arranges trucking for Branch Transfers

  • Filing, Postage, Reconcile monthly fuel receipts, process payable invoices, as well as other general office duties.

  • Locates needed equipment for upcoming projects

Qualifications:

  • Requires education generally equivalent to a High School diploma, with specialized training preferred in CPR/First Aid, Forklift, and Warehouse

  • Requires at least 1-3 years of work experience, including experience loading and unloading trucks and operating a forklift

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel

  • Requires proficiency in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and basic business math

  • Previous experience in the construction industry

  • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and personnel at other branch offices and headquarters

  • Requires the ability to think critically and problem solve

  • Requires good organizational skills and good judgment in making decisions

  • Ability to communicate and train employees effectively

BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. The salary range for this position is $25-$27 hourly . This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
