SignArt Inc. Sign Designer/Drafter in Kalamazoo, Michigan
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with our sales team to take projects from concept to customer proposal.
- Use industry standard Corel Draw and Flexi-Sign software.
- Create detailed and dimensional concept drawings from scratch.
- Learn and apply industry standard color palettes.
- Balance multiple projects simultaneously.
- Convert logos to vector for manufacturing, plotting, or cutting.
- Decipher some municipal code.
- Recreate site plans and elevation drawings to scale.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Proficiency in creating scaled/dimensioned 2D drawings.
- Experience with Corel Draw preferred (training for candidates that have used similar vector software).
- General mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills.
- Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment and follow instructions.
- Proficiency in deciphering architectural building and site plans.
- Organization and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Follow municipal code requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Related Associates/Bachelors degree or 1-3 years of related experience
