As Shipping Coordinator, you will coordinate for all customer orders to be dispatched on time with correct paperwork processed accurately to meet business On Time Performance.
Your Focus
To Generate shipping report daily.
Book shipment via EDI with 4PL.
Book shipment with customer nominated freight forwarders.
Arrangement & booking of trucks for local and Malaysia road deliveries
Inquire to customer service to clarify instructions /requirements for customer deliveries and to inform of any late dispatch.
Expedite any urgent shipment processing as needed.
Liaise with Outbound Warehouse for products readiness for dispatch as needed.
Follow up with customer service on IPC eligibility for FTA CO application.
Generate SAP shipping documents and send via EDI to 4PL
Prepare, check and sign off on DGD and PM4 (dangerous goods declaration for Air and Sea respectively)
Communicate with 3PL when necessary to resolve any shipping issues.
Filing of completed shipping documents and maintain archive for audit
Generate SDS as needed and upkeep SDS Archive.
Support sample parcel dispatch via courier services
Coordinate with forwarder & warehouse on the truck in & out of the container.
Transmit shipping documents via EDI to 4PL.
Dispatch full set of shipping documents to consignee/ customer
Fill up bank template for application of bills collections & negotiation (DP/DA/Letter of credit)
Requirement
Minimum GCE 'A' levels / Certificate in Logistics or Supply Chain, or its equivalent.
Minimum 2 years work experience in logistics or supply chain environment.
Good written and Verbal communication skills
Candidate with certification in Dangerous Goods Declaration IATA and IMO will be an added advantage
