With the ongoing expansion of our business, we need a strong Principal Technical Program Manager for the Oracle Data Center Delivery organization business. This is a high impact role that will lead, oversee, and ensure the successful delivery and management of critical initiatives on our strategic roadmap. The role comes with a high degree of personal accountability and autonomy and will require effective engagement across Engineering and Operations.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to own the planning, scoping and execution of strategic initiatives enabled by technology. They will drive decision-making, roadmap planning, and initiative implementation focused on measurable impact and must be able to manage the balance between business outcomes and technical delivery at scale.
Specific Responsibilities include:
End-to-end leader in charge of the program, from shaping the approach to achieving the desired outcomes through delivery.
Define and execute a measurable global program(s) for by challenging the status quo and focusing on best practices
Influence, activate, and orchestrate across teams to build alignment and drive results
Able to demonstrate delivery of large projects and medium complexity programs and ensure business objectives are achieved; includes proactive and strategic ownership of your assigned projects (scope, schedule, and budget)
Provide program and project management expertise to complex business initiatives that are global in nature, understanding interdependencies between process, technology, and people needs
Influence, activate, and orchestrate across teams to build alignment and drive results, managing feedback/pain points from our customers and stakeholders
Drive and achieve successful change management through industry recognized approaches
Build relationships and collaborate globally with stakeholders and partners to deliver outcomes across the organization, ensuring a shared understanding of progress and performance
Seek opportunities to bring about ongoing improvement and simplification in business operating procedures and practices leading to improved efficiency and effectiveness
Track and manage priorities and committed actions to drive progress and provide actionable insights.
Effective use of structured and unstructured data to create reporting, metrics and drive process improvement
Lead and mentor peers leveraging best practices and industry experience to develop and grow skills sets.
Be a role model of the organization’s common values (OCI values).
Ideal Experience
8+ years of program/project management experience
Background in technology enabled change ideally with either datacenter or IT services experience
Proven ability to create effective relationships, listen, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels
Ability to inspire confidence in senior leaders and motivate global team members
Leading and managing a can-do attitude through continual change, ambiguity; able to identify systemic approaches to solving problems
Excellent communication skills including high quality written communications and the ability to articulate complex information in a simple way
Experience in leading and delivering on Global Cross Organizational Programs involving varying workstreams, disciplines, and deliverables.
Proactive, forward-thinking, and strategic, yet pragmatic and technically savvy, with the ability to synthesize disparate data effectively and quickly into clear recommendations, actions, and decisions
Program/project management certifications or qualifications with proven ability to deliver complex programs
Strong business acumen and with ability to apply that knowledge to inform the best approaches that balance priorities, speed of execution, and cost.
Demonstrated ability to think from a business/outcome perspective and translate that into executable delivery and clear accountabilities

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
