Insight Global Manufacturing Engineer in Joplin, Missouri
Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their production team in the Joplin, MO area. This individual is responsible for creating, developing, and implementing the design plans for production. Using blueprints and specifications, the Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for writing procedures and work instructions for team members and engineers to follow through the manufacturing process. Additional responsibilities include creating process diagrams, building to print for end clients, ensuring parts are implemented, and troubleshooting as needed. This individual will continuously analyze the manufacturing process to ensure the current requirements are modified as needed to establish best practice. The Manufacturing Engineer will work 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday.

Skills and Requirements
2+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineer
Bachelors degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Previous experience with process improvement or Lean Manufacturing
Ability to work onsite 5 days/week in Joplin, MO and comfortable with overtime Prior experience on a shop floor (i.e. cnc machining) null
