Currently hiring a Production associate in the Joliet, IL area. Hiring immediately.
Job Description
Work around pumps to transfer chemicals
Occasionally use a forklift equipment in an industrial setting
Hook up hoses to tanks to transfer liquid chemicals to totes and drums
Verify product on trucks through written documents
Label drums and totes
Perform consistent heavy lifting
Work in peroxide transloading department and hazardous material transloading department
Drive a spotter truck to move containers around the property
Clean and maintain the work area
Essential Skills
Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Experience on production machinery such as valves or pumps
Previous heavy lifting and experience loading and unloading materials
Experience operating sit-down forklift
Chemical Operator or Compounder experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Comfortable working near hazardous chemicals
Comfortable working indoors and outside for 50% of the day
Shift Hours:
7:00am - 3:30pm
Candidates must be open to overtime as needed
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
