Currently hiring a Production associate in the Joliet, IL area. Hiring immediately.

Job Description

• Work around pumps to transfer chemicals

• Occasionally use a forklift equipment in an industrial setting

• Hook up hoses to tanks to transfer liquid chemicals to totes and drums

• Verify product on trucks through written documents

• Label drums and totes

• Perform consistent heavy lifting

• Work in peroxide transloading department and hazardous material transloading department

• Drive a spotter truck to move containers around the property

• Clean and maintain the work area

Essential Skills

• Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment

• Experience on production machinery such as valves or pumps

• Previous heavy lifting and experience loading and unloading materials

• Experience operating sit-down forklift

• Chemical Operator or Compounder experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Comfortable working near hazardous chemicals

• Comfortable working indoors and outside for 50% of the day

Shift Hours:

• 7:00am - 3:30pm

• Candidates must be open to overtime as needed

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
