Actalent Quality Control Manager in JOINT BASE MDL, New Jersey

Job Title: Quality Control ManagerJob Description

We are seeking a Construction Superintendent/Quality Control (QC) Manager for a series of Task Orders at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. This role involves overseeing multiple task orders each year, ranging from half a million to 5 million dollars, all related to interior fit-outs and renovations of existing buildings. The selected candidate will be responsible for both superintendent and quality control management duties.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling manpower

  • Overseeing subcontractors

  • Directing on-site supervision

  • Working with management to stay on budget and within schedule constraints

  • Reviewing submittals for contract compliance and submitting to the DoR/USACE in RMS

  • Performing quality control checks on a daily basis

  • Conducting QC inspections

  • Ensuring materials on-site match approved submittals

  • Verifying workmanship of contractors aligns with approved plans and contracts

Essential Skills

  • 10 years of experience as a Quality Control Manager

  • Superintendent/QC experience on Federal Contracts

  • Proficient in RMS, USACE, and CQM

  • Thorough understanding of EM385

  • OSHA 30 certification

  • Experience with Army Corps of Engineers

  • Interior construction and interior fit-out experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • CQCM Training/Certification

  • NAVFAC and Navy project experience

Work Environment

The project is located at Fort Dix Army Base in New Jersey. The role involves working on-site with active construction and renovation projects, requiring adherence to safety regulations and protocols.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $44.23/hr.
