Job Title: Quality Control ManagerJob Description
We are seeking a Construction Superintendent/Quality Control (QC) Manager for a series of Task Orders at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. This role involves overseeing multiple task orders each year, ranging from half a million to 5 million dollars, all related to interior fit-outs and renovations of existing buildings. The selected candidate will be responsible for both superintendent and quality control management duties.
Responsibilities
Scheduling manpower
Overseeing subcontractors
Directing on-site supervision
Working with management to stay on budget and within schedule constraints
Reviewing submittals for contract compliance and submitting to the DoR/USACE in RMS
Performing quality control checks on a daily basis
Conducting QC inspections
Ensuring materials on-site match approved submittals
Verifying workmanship of contractors aligns with approved plans and contracts
Essential Skills
10 years of experience as a Quality Control Manager
Superintendent/QC experience on Federal Contracts
Proficient in RMS, USACE, and CQM
Thorough understanding of EM385
OSHA 30 certification
Experience with Army Corps of Engineers
Interior construction and interior fit-out experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
CQCM Training/Certification
NAVFAC and Navy project experience
Work Environment
The project is located at Fort Dix Army Base in New Jersey. The role involves working on-site with active construction and renovation projects, requiring adherence to safety regulations and protocols.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $44.23/hr.
