Amentum Supply Tech/HAZMAT in Johor Bahru, Malaysia

The Consolidated Hazardous Material Reutilization and Inventory Management Program (CHRIMP) Technician shall be responsible for receiving, storing and issuing Hazardous Materials in accordance with the latest guidance issued under the Navy CHRIMP Program, NAVSUP Publication-722 and SINGAPORE AREA COORDINATOR INSTRUCTION 5090.1A- Hazardous Material Control and Management at Navy Region Center, Singapore for Activities and Tenants. The CHRIMP Technician’s primary place of work will be at Sembawang and Changi Naval Base, but may involve limited work at other sites, such as Paya Lebar and other hazmat satellite work centers.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • The individual must have a minimum of one year Hazardous Material Center (HAZMINCEN)/CHRIMP experience including working with the Hazardous Material Information System, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Minimum training requirements include:

  • Hazardous Substance Incident Response Management (HSIRM)

  • Overseas Hazardous Waste Generator Course

  • Environment Management System (EMS)

  • Facility Response Team (FRT)

  • Hazard Communication (HAZCOM)

  • Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Warehouse

= Operations and Physical Inventory Program

  • All training requirements must be met within six months of hire date.

  • The CHRIMP Technician must possess moderate computer skills.

  • Must possess and maintain a valid class 4 driving license and shall also be certified as forklift operator.

  • The CHRIMP Technician shall meet all requirements for and obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC).
