Job Title: Low Voltage Technician

Job Description

Entry-level technicians will assist technicians with data cabling and security installations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist technicians with data cabling and security installations.

  • Perform general labor tasks related to low voltage installations.

  • Utilize hand tools and follow construction practices.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and standards, including OSHA10 requirements.

  • Conduct inspections and handle fire alarm and electrical tasks.

  • Pull wire and data cables as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Prior experience in construction labor.

  • Ability to adapt and learn the ropes for a low voltage contractor.

  • OSHA10 certification.

  • Experience with inspections, fire alarms, electrical work, and pulling wire and data cables.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Lift certifications (preferred).

Work Environment

Contractors will be on a commercial site working alongside other trades during installation phases. The schedule includes six 12-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, 6am-6pm, totaling 72 hours per week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Johnstown, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
