Columbian Financial Group Software Configuration Developer II in Johnson City, New York
Software Configuration Developer II (Johnson City, NY): Develop and configure business rules inside PAS to support business needs. Configure product features (such as calculations) based on product specifications. Work closely with business units to gather functional requirements. Work with the technical team to ensure integration points are supported through configuration. Develop queries for ad hoc business projects, as well as ongoing reporting. Develop practical, workable, cost- effective solutions to business challenges. Maintain and grow insurance industry and technical knowledge competencies. Support technical development efforts as necessary. Remote work allowed. Requires: Master’s degree in Engineering Management, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related plus 36 months of experience as an SQLBI Developer or related OR bachelor’s degree in Engineering Management, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related plus 60 months of experience as an SQLBI Developer or related; knowledge of Software Development or configuration, SQL, XML/HTML, Object-oriented development, and Database analysis and reporting.
