As a Data Governance Consultant specializing in Purview, you will be responsible for implementing and managing data governance strategies using Microsoft Purview. You will work closely with clients to understand their data landscape, compliance requirements, and business objectives to ensure that their data assets are accurately defined, cataloged, classified, and protected.

Working at NTT

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data governance frameworks according to industry best practice

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document data governance requirements.

  • Develop policies and rules for data quality, privacy, and protection.

  • Conduct data lineage analysis and metadata management.

  • Conduct master data management analysis.

  • Implement project in Microsoft Purview.

  • Configure and manage Purview Data Map, Data Catalog, and Data Insights features.

  • Provide training and support to clients on Purview functionalities.

  • Monitor and report on data governance metrics and compliance status.

  • Stay updated with the latest features and best practices in Microsoft Purview and data governance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Proven experience in data governance, data management, or a similar role.

  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Purview and its components.

  • Familiarity with data privacy laws and regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, POPIA, etc.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Certifications in data governance or Microsoft technologies are a plus.

  • CDMP certification are a plus.
