JPMorgan Chase Risk Management & Compliance - Chief Financial Officer Business Manager -Vice President in Jersey City, New Jersey

The Risk Management & Compliance (RM&C) CFO organization acts as strategic partners and trusted advisors to the Risk and Compliance organization.

As part of RM&C CFO, the RM&C Finance & Business Management team supports the firm's Chief Risk Officer, RM&C Chief Financial Officer and the Risk Operating Committee through on-going governance and discipline on direct and allocated expenses, technology investment governance, real estate management, program management, intelligent solution delivery, executive reporting and strategic change initiatives that cut across RM&C.

As a Vice President, Business Manager within RM&C Finance and Business Management you will exhibit leadership and creativity as you partner with business heads and cross functional partners to achieve strategic and tactical objectives.

Job responsibilities

  • Operating as a key advisor, supporting senior leaders in shaping and executing their strategic visions

  • Crafting compelling narratives through clear and engaging executive level presentations on diverse topics

  • Constructing multi-year budgets and managing associated costs and staffing

  • Conceptualizing and implementing strategies for employee recruitment, development, and engagement

  • Building connections, influencing, and negotiating with a wide array of cross-functional stakeholders including Finance, HR, Employee Learning and Development, and Technology

  • Working in a hybrid environment (60% office / 40% remote) taking advantage of in-office collaboration while enjoying the flexibility to work remote

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 7+ years of experience as a chief of staff, business manager or communications professional

  • Highly proficient analytical capabilities with a keen ability to deep dive into data and convey the story in a simple, understandable, and compelling manner

  • Strong natural leader and role model with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decisions and provide clear messaging across all organizational levels

  • Exceptional judgment, problem-solving skills, and resourcefulness

  • Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive results independently

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint and strong familiarity with Teams for effective collaboration and presentation

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equitable experience)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with Intelligent Solutions (Alteryx; Tableau; Qlik sense)
