JPMorgan Chase CCB Business Management, Vice President in Jersey City, New Jersey

Provide day to day oversight & operational management of partners/vendors by closely collaborating with internal and external parties

As a Business Management Vice President, you will be a liaison between the business, Global Supplier Services, and the vendors by providing oversight with processes and procedures, promoting a strong controls environment, driving process improvements, proposing solutions, collaborating with internal teams, gathering requirements from the business, collecting and reviewing vendor proposals, partnering with Global Supplier Services, negotiating and finalizing contracts and conducting presentations during various Chief Financial Officer and line of business meetings.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, time management, project management and facilitation skills. You should be comfortable interacting with multiple teams and senior management on a regular basis, partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors, have proven analytical and strategic thinking skills, along with a high degree of comfort with business and technology language and be able to provide a world class vendor management service.

For this role, candidates must be able to physically work in either our Jersey City, NJ or Wilmington, DE offices 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage large number of contingent labor and professional service engagements ranging from simple one time and material to managed agreements / fixed deliverables to complex, multi-year vendor agreements

  • Provide leadership, direction and coaching to teams(s) while partnering with key stakeholders including Technology, Finance and Sourcing

  • Build and manage relationships with internal key contacts, ensuring Vendor Enablement and Experience requirements and objectives are adhered to with data collection and requirements gathering, validating budget funding, contract negotiations, and execution of vendor processes

  • Assist in the strategy for evaluating and monitoring vendors in the CCB Tech space

  • Serve as subject-matter for all phases of the supplier engagement lifecycle

  • Partner and influence clients to ensure legal, risk, compliance and/or controls requirements are satisfied

  • Produce executive level communications about programs inclusive of status, risks, issues, and delivery roadmap

  • Assist product teams to analyze and prioritize work while level-setting expectations for delivery to stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 7+ years of demonstrated experience in software/hardware professional services sourcing, vendor, partner, or relationship management, technology or product management

  • Strong competencies in use of MS Office packages (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Strong at multi-tasking and time management discipline

  • Strong communication & presentation skills

  • Experience with client management and project management

  • Strong understanding of banking and departmental procedures, functions, and activities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with third party risk oversight/sourcing/vendor management/Technology Project Management
