Grow your career as a Business Analyst/Project Manager with an innovative global bank in Jersey City, NJ. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 3 days onsite per week.

Join one of the world's most renowned global banks and trusted brand with over 200 years of continuously evolving financial services worldwide. Will be working closely with the business and internal technology teams, building out and maintaining platforms across both the cash and synthetics set of products. Will manage complex projects that will involve everything from incorporating a new functionality within the existing ecosystem, to analyzing new requirements, documenting solutions, managing implementation and testing systems, ensuring that they are fit for purpose. You will work alongside some of the smartest minds in the industry who are excited to share their knowledge and to learn from you.

Contract Duration: 9+ Months

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s University degree.

  • Experience working in the financial industry.

  • Strong product level knowledge of Equity Swap products.

  • A proven track record of business analysis experience and strong familiarity with BA analysis techniques.

  • Strong investigation and data analysis skills with intermediate SQL skills.

  • Strong level of experience and familiarity with Agile, Scrum or Waterfall SDLC methodology.

  • Strong practical experience in analysis, design and project managing end to end delivery.

  • Supports continuous improvement, learning opportunity, increasing predictability.

  • Demonstrated experience to fully utilize JIRA/Confluence capabilities.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Good product level knowledge of Cash Prime Brokerage.

  • Understanding Trade Processing management.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Own business/ functional requirements and change requests, documenting solution and managing end to end project delivery.

  • Understand business priorities and working as a liaison between business and development teams.

  • Manage relationship with Business and take ownership for providing regular project updates to key business and technology stakeholders.

  • Communicate key project risks, define mitigation strategies and manage resolution.

  • Develop test strategies, document test scenarios and coordinate User Acceptance Testing across front to back tech stack.

  • Develop Project Plans and UAT Runbooks.

  • Work with development and support teams to resolve production issues and identify root cause.

  • Proactively follows escalation and change control processes.

  • Own management reports on a given engagement.
