job summary:
An Electrical & Automation Engineer is needed for the world's largest food and beverage company in the Jefferson, WI area. The Electrical & Automation Engineer oversees electrical, controls, and automation engineering for capital projects, providing technical leadership, supporting project execution, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

responsibilities:
Lead electrical, controls, and automation engineering and design for capital projects.
Execute electrical, controls, and automation engineering and design deliverables.
Develop scopes of work for capital projects and create requests for proposal (RFP).
Provide oversight and technical support for engineering and design deliverables.
Support responses to requests for information (RFIs) and construction closeout activities.
Provide technical coaching and training to engineering resources and consultants.
Support the review and approval of project drawings and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests.
Skills:
Experience with large, multi-million dollar capex projects.
Essential skills include autonomy, communication, PLC and HMI/SCADA competency, safety system design, PC operating systems, and industrial networking.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and interpret control schematics.
Beneficial familiarity with power distribution, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Acrobat, and Siemens PLC design.
Education and Experience:
Have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field and 5+ years of experience, or
An Associates Degree and 7+ years of experience in control systems design.
